COVID Mitigation: We will follow the current CDC guidance regarding COVID quarantine and isolation requirements. In addition, we will follow the current DOD and USNA policies for civilian visitors.
All persons must be masked while indoors unless they are actively participating in athletic activity or eating or drinking. We will ask that spectators not eat in the facility. Spectators will be allowed to view the water polo events but must be masked indoors, regardless of vaccine status. As always, everyone should do their best to social distance to remain respectful of others.
Academy Access: As a reminder, there is no vehicle access onto the Naval Academy without a valid Military ID. Therefore, nearly all fans will have to park in town and walk through the Visitors Gate (Gate 1) near downtown Annapolis. You will need a valid regular government issued ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport, etc.) to get onto base if an adult or an unaccompanied minor and all bags will be subject to search (similar to an airport). Minors without ID can be escorted by their parent/guardian.
Be aware that anytime fans walk back off base (e.g., to go out in town for lunch, etc.), they will have to show a valid government ID (e.g., driver’s license, passport, etc.) to walk back onto base at Gate 1.
