Practice Schedule
For the 2025-2026 Season
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays:
7-8 pm for 10U Coed
7-8:30 pm for 12U Coed
7:30-8:30 pm for 14U Coed
8-10 pm 16U Coed, and 18U Coed
Saturdays:
1-3 pm for 16U and 18U Coed.
3-4:30 pm for 10U, 12U, and 14U Coed.
All practices are held at The St. James sports complex (6805 Industrial Rd, Springfield, VA 22151)
Events
Kap7 Cup - 12/14u
Our 12u & 14u teams will travel to Orange County, CA for the Kap7 Cup
Futures Qualifiers - 16/18u
Our 16/18u will travel to Dallas, TX for Futures Water Polo League qualifiers. This event will take place in early April - exact details to follow!
South Florida International Tournament - 14u Co-Ed
Our 14u team(s) will return to the South Florida International Tournament in Coral Springs, FL
Kap7 International Tournament - 16/18u
Our 16u & 18u teams will travel to Orange County, CA to compete in the Kap7 International Tournament.
Beast of the East - 12u Co-ed
Our 12u/14u teams will return to Beast of the East in Clermont, FL.
Kap 7 Holiday Cup - 14u (Boys only)/16u/18u
Our 14/16/18u teams will travel to Orange County, CA for the Kap7 Holiday Cup
JO Qualifiers - 14u Team
Capital’s 14u team will travel to Ambler, PA to compete with teams around the zone for a qualification spot to July’s Bay Area Junior Olympics Tournament.
JO Qualifiers - 16/18u Teams
Capital’s 16u and 18u teams will travel to Annapolis, MD to compete with teams from around the zone for qualification spots to July’s Bay Area Junior Olympics Tournament.
JO Qualifiers - 12u Team
Capital & Asphalt Green’s joint 12u team will travel to Greenwich, CT to compete for a qualification spot to July’s Bay Area Junior Olympics Tournament.
WCAC Maverick Spring Splash
Capital’s 18u team will travel to Ambler, PA to participate in the WCAC Maverick Spring Splash tournament, a great opportunity for them to compete against many of the teams they will see at JO Qualifiers in May.
14th Annual KAP 7 Cup
Capital’s 14u and 16u Teams will be traveling to Irvine, CA to compete against some of the nation’s strongest teams at the 14th annual Kap 7 Cup Tournament, hosted at the Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center.
Farmingdale Spring Kick-Off
Capital’s 12u Team will travel to Farmingdale, NY to participate in the Farmingdale Spring Kick-Off developmental tournament - an excellent opportunity for newer players to get experience in game settings.
Spring Tiger Classic Tournament
Capital’s 18u Boys Team will be attending the Spring Tiger Classic Tournament in Pittsburgh.
Beast Of The East
Capital’s 12u and 14u teams travel to Orlando, Florida for the Beast of the East tournament hosted by the Orlando Thunder.
Battle of the Bay Tournament
Next Level Water Polo is overjoyed to host the 5th Annual Battle of the Bay Tournament on Nov 12, 13th in Clearwater, FL. This tournament is all about connecting Out-Of-State Competition with Athletes in Florida to help athletes elevate their game and compete at a high level!
Scrimmage against Navy
10U /12U and 14 U will play their games from 4-5:30 pm ( RSVP on our website )
16U and 18U will play their game from 1-3 pm (RSVP on our website)
New Player Information Session
Ready to try something fun? Capital Water Polo Club is starting our 2022-2023 season on Friday, September 2nd. All boys and girls ages 8 to 18 that are proficient swimmers are invited to join and learn more about the game with Captial’s professional coaches.
Interactive Information Session
Come join us for an Interactive Information Session! The event will include meeting players and coaches, a mini info session about the team, and an opportunity to get in the water and learn some basic skills.
USA Water Polo National Junior Olympics
The USA Water Polo Junior Olympic Championships is the largest age group water polo tournament in the Nation. Athletes and teams come from across the country to compete on the national stage.
